Terms of service
Version 2026-08-23
SEE-Q is software. It does not provide tax, legal or financial advice, and you stay responsible for your own filings and business decisions.
1. What SEE-Q provides
SEE-Q is a dynamic QR and data-capture service. It gives you stable short codes, destinations you can re-point at any time, hosted pages, instant forms and the analytics generated from scans and submissions.
Merchant features connect your account to a FOUND identity and wallet. Those services are operated separately by FOUND Africa and are governed by their own terms.
2. No tax, legal or financial advice
Nothing produced by SEE-Q — including invoices, receipts, e-invoicing output, generated reports and any AI-generated recommendation, workflow or application — is tax, accounting, legal or financial advice.
You remain solely responsible for verifying every submission with the relevant authority, including the Nigeria Revenue Service and any equivalent body in your country of operation, and for meeting the regulatory requirements of your industry.
3. Automated and AI-generated output
Some SEE-Q features use automated systems and AI models. Their output can be incomplete or wrong.
You must review any automated calculation, document or recommendation before relying on it. Acting on automated output is your decision and your responsibility.
4. Your data and your customers
You own the leads and records you collect through SEE-Q. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect them, for telling your customers what you collect, and for handling that information in line with applicable data protection law.
You must not use SEE-Q to collect information deceptively, or to send unsolicited messages to people who submitted a form.
5. Payments and settlement
Where SEE-Q supports collecting payment, funds move through third-party providers and your connected FOUND wallet. Settlement timing, currency conversion and payout availability are determined by those providers, not by SEE-Q.
You are responsible for the accuracy of any forwarding bank account or treasury address you supply.
6. Availability
SEE-Q is provided as-is and as-available. Codes, hosted pages and forms may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages or network failure.
We keep your short codes stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEE-Q, FOUND Africa and FATEF are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, tax penalties, audit costs, regulatory sanction, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or of any output it generates.
You agree to indemnify and hold SEE-Q, FOUND Africa and FATEF harmless against third-party claims arising from your use of the service, the content you publish, the data you collect, or your reliance on automated output.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are version-stamped and you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use your account.
